Remcom is searching for a highly motivated Software Engineer to develop electromagnetic simulation software tools used by engineers and scientists at technology companies and research institutions. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least two years of experience with C++ and object-oriented programming. We are searching for someone that is an independent self-starter who loves problem-solving and learning new things.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop electromagnetic (EM) simulation applications used in research and the tech industry

  • Use the latest techniques in parallel computing and optimization

  • Convert engineering algorithms to efficient code

  • Develop graphical visualization of simulation results

  • Write unit tests, perform UI and automated end-to-end testing

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience with C++ and object-oriented programming

  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment

  • EM knowledge and Unix experience preferred, but not required

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
